Testimonials and Evaluations from High Technology Seminar Attendees
“It was a great pleasure attending the (HEP) seminar. Your seminar changed my perspective. I am more clear now on how I should approach … the human-related issues. I feel like a few missing parts of a jig saw puzzle in my mind (are) completed after your seminar.”
Sibel Yalin; QA Manager; Cosmetica Laboratories Inc.
“Thank you for last week’s 2 seminars in New Orleans. I was particularly moved by the patience and kind attention you showed everyone …. I hope my tendency to perform as an un-”Designated Challenger” (great expression by the way) came across as an over abundance of enthusiasm ….
|“Ben, again thank you for the great learning experience I had on Root Cause Analysis.
John “Rusty” DeKleine / Quality Assurance Manager / Curtiss-Wright Corporation”
“Having attended two of Ben’s courses, Human Error Prevention and Root Cause Analysis, I found the course material well researched and presented in a manner that brought out both the underlying theory and practical applications. Our company continues to send employees to Ben’s courses and has now contracted Ben to assist with improvements to our investigation and analysis processes.”
”I want to tell you that I enjoyed your seminars very much. Although we have a very useful human error analysis tool, I realize now that it is incomplete without many of the concepts and analyses you taught. I will definitely recommend your seminars to others.”
“I’m really looking forward to this seminar as I learned so much from the Human Error Prevention Seminar.”
“Thanks again for an excellent presentation and for creating a comfortable learning environment.”
Following are the results from the Human Error Prevention Pre-conference
· “Excellent course by an exultant presenter/teacher.”
“It was a real pleasure to have the opportunity to share with the course group, but especially with you as our instructor.”
Given below are the various attributes of the Human Error Prevention Seminar that are listed on the Training Course Evaluation Form, and for each attribute, the average score based on twenty-five individual evaluations. The range of scores on the form is “1” to “5” with the latter being the best.
* Seminar Presentation Clarity – 4.24
“I have had the opportunity to be student in Ben Marguglio’s seminars on Human Error Prevention and Root Cause Analysis. Both of these topics are nontraditional areas of information that my organization has grown into. The information that I gained in these courses I use on an almost daily basis. I found the format, content and method of presentation on target for information that I could apply in my organization almost immediately.”
”With the Institute of Medicine’s to “Err Is Human” and the continuing media accounts of hospital errors, it’s hard to deny the unsafe conditions that exist in US hospitals today.”Most of the technical know-how to improve these unsafe conditions already exists in other industries. Many safety experts have likened the current situation in hospitals today to that in aviation and nuclear power in the 1950s.”
“Personally, I found his seminar to be extremely valuable and would highly recommend it to others in health care.
“Thanks for allowing me to provide inputs to your class. It was well done and well worth the time. I collected 18 ideas to be considered for inclusion in our process.”
“Thanks for the great seminar. I know that as an instructor you always wonder how valuable the seminar is to those attending. As you repeatedly emphasized, moving these tools into the design phase really helped me as a Design Engineering Manager. I have many notes for topics for upcoming staff meetings. The seminar facilities and location were outstanding.”
“First of all, let me thank you. I learned a lot during the Human Error Prevention and Root Cause Analysis Seminars this past week. Well worth the time.”
Thank you for the hospitality and two great courses in Las Vegas!! It was a great opportunity to be able to visit and learn among peers.”
“It was a pleasure to listen to you in the seminar.” 🙂
I don’t recall seeing Ben’s proposal. He is always great. I guess I just missed it?????
Ben: I wanted to reiterate that I really appreciate the new perspective I gained during participation in your Human Error Prevention seminar in Dallas. I shared several ideas with our People Based Safety Team and also benefited from their perspective. If budget allows, I would like to participate in your Root Cause Analysis seminar sometime this year – so please keep me on your mailing list for future seminars.
Evaluation forms from February 10th Human Error Prevention Seminar
Many thanks again.
On a scale of 1-5, the latter being excellent, the evaluations for presentation attributes under my control averaged as follows:
Knowledge of instructor – 4.83;
The latter score suffered because lunch took almost 1 ¾ hours, reducing the time for questions …. Never-the-less, the first four scores are very good and the last score is certainly acceptable.
“This is a great topic “human error prevention” and Ben Marguglio is a pioneer in this field”
Thank you again for an informative conference. I think I can adapt some of your techniques and thought process to my human error quality concerns in my computer system manufacturing environment.
