Quality Requirements for Procurement of Design & Construction Services
BW (Ben) Marguglio

Why This Seminar?

This seminar describes requirements that protect the Client, improve the understanding between the Client and Architectural Engineer (AE) / Constructor and, therefore, improve their working and contractual relationship.

Audience

This seminar is designed specifically for architectural engineering, construction, procurement, quality, and other professionals who have responsibility for specifying requirements for the acquisition of design and construction services, or for complying or assuring compliance with such requirements.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this seminar, one will be able to:
• Understand the technical and legal meaning of each procurement quality requirement;
• Specify procurement quality requirements for the complete scope of the Client - AE / Constructor relationship, and understand the circumstances in which each requirement should or should not be applied, the benefits of proper application of the requirement, and the potential consequences of misapplication of the requirement;

• Understand potential objections to a requirement, and provide alternative approaches by which to resolve the objections.
